01. Can I change the dimensions of any bed?
Yes. All beds — Fixed or Custom — can be produced in any dimension (90×200 to 200×200), as well as in custom dimensions for lofts, small spaces, or architectural projects.
02. Can I choose any fabric or color?
Of course. We offer over 60 premium upholstery fabric options: velour, bouclé, linen-look, easy-clean, and faux leather.
We can also help you choose colors that match your interior décor.
03. What are beds with storage space and are they durable?
Beds with storage space feature a heavy-duty lift mechanism, with a reinforced frame and premium hinges.
They are suitable for everyday use and offer generous storage capacity.
They are especially recommended for small spaces or Airbnb properties.
04. Can I add storage space to any model?
Yes, almost all models can be made either with a standard base or with storage.
05. What materials are used for the frame?
We use:
2 cm reinforced fir wood
non-woven coverings
16 mm Saviola board
premium furniture materials
This ensures stability, lifespan, and high quality.
06. Can I order only a headboard without the base?
Yes, all headboards can be purchased separately, in any height or width.
07. Can I order only a base without a headboard?
Yes, the base can be purchased separately from the headboard, in the dimension of your choice.
Mattresses
(Firmness, Support, Differences Between Anatomical and Orthopedic)
01. Should I choose an anatomical or orthopedic mattress?
It depends on your sleeping position and body type. In any dimension (90×200 to 200×200), as well as in custom dimensions for lofts, small spaces, or architectural projects.
Anatomical: adapts to the body, ideal for shoulders & lower back.
Orthopedic: firmer, offers strong spinal support.
02. How firm should the mattress be?
Generally:
Side sleeping position → softer
Supine sleeping position → medium
Prone sleeping position → firmer
03. What does “mattress with support zones” mean?
Mattresses with 7 support zones adapt to each part of the body,
offering ideal ergonomics.
They are the best choice for everyday use. They are suitable for everyday use and offer generous capacity.
They are especially recommended for small spaces or Airbnb properties.
04. How long does a quality mattress last?
7–12 years, depending on use, body weight, and the type of mattress.
05. Does the mattress need to be rotated?
Most models should be rotated periodically in order to maintain their anatomical performance.
Double-sided models can be flipped to the other side.
06. Do BALO Strom mattresses fit beds with storage space?
Yes, all models in the DORMIS series are fully compatible with every Balo Concept base.

All beds are covered by a manufacturing warranty, as we are the manufacturer ourselves.
02. Do you deliver throughout Greece?
Yes, we deliver throughout Greece via transport companies or private delivery.
Installation is available in selected areas.

For handmade beds, the production time is 10–20 business days, depending on the complexity and customization.
02. What warranty do the mattresses have?
Balo Strom mattresses come with a manufacturer’s warranty, depending on the model.
03. What happens if I need technical support?
We are by your side for any issue.
